With nearly eight years in the real estate industry and over a year of direct experience in Non-QM lending, Bjorik began his career in commercial sales and leasing with two of the world’s largest brokerages. He advised both private and institutional clients on their portfolios before transitioning into the mortgage space as an Account Executive. His background gives him a strategic edge in understanding complex scenarios and crafting tailored solutions. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Saint Cloud State University in Minnesota, further enhancing his ability to support originators with financial insight and professionalism.

Bjorik was immediately drawn to Angel Oak’s culture, market dominance, and long-term vision. He sees the company as a place where he can grow and make a meaningful impact in the Non-QM space, backed by a powerful brand. Outside of work, Bjorik is a dedicated family man who enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors—especially the scenic beauty of Minnesota. He also holds a private pilot’s license, which allows him to explore the outdoors with friends and family. A proud supporter of all Minnesota sports teams, he especially cheers for the Timberwolves.
