With over 20 years in mortgage banking, Alonzo Johnson brings extensive industry experience to his role as an Account Executive at Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions. Having worked across residential and wholesale lending, he understands the unique challenges and opportunities originators face in today’s market.

Alonzo chose to join Angel Oak because of its reputation as the premier non-QM lender, committed to innovation and excellence. He thrives on working with forward-thinking professionals who are dedicated to expanding market opportunities and serving underserved borrowers. His mission is to equip originators with a full suite of lending solutions, ensuring no client is left without options.

Passionate about homeownership and free enterprise, Alonzo finds fulfillment in helping others achieve their dreams—whether it’s a first-time homebuyer or a seasoned investor. Outside of work, Alonzo enjoys taking on small building projects that beautify homes, working out, swimming, bike riding, and writing. He has a strong interest in boxing, both as a sport and for personal conditioning. While he doesn’t consider himself a die-hard sports fan, he does however root for what he calls, his hometown teams the LA Lakers, the LA Dodgers and the reunified LA Chargers.
